A note from Vianey
Working with children has always been meaningful to me because I believe childhood is such an important time of growth, discovery, and learning. Children are figuring out who they are, how to understand their emotions, and how they fit into the world around them. I want to be someone who provides support and encouragement during that process by creating a space where children feel safe to be themselves, share their experiences, and know they are valued. My decision to become a therapist comes from a desire to create a safe, supportive space where children feel seen and heard, and where families feel empowered to navigate life's challenges together. I believe children have an incredible ability to grow and heal when they are met with patience and a genuine connection.
My approach is grounded in child-centered therapy, which means I strive to create an environment where children can explore and express themselves freely through play and creativity at their own pace. I view each child as the expert on their own experiences and work collaboratively with families to support emotional growth and strengthen relationships. Whether supporting children through life transitions, behavioral concerns, or emotional difficulties, I am committed to meeting each family with empathy and authenticity, while helping them discover the tools they already possess to thrive.
