It is my mission to team up with parents, children and young adults to improve confidence, positivity and emotional regulation. As children, we are taught math, science and reading, but not how to feel or to feel, accept and express our feelings. As a result, this can come out as aggression, anxiety or with-drawl. It is my goal to help my clients target problem behaviors, process past events, and learn new skills while providing guidance and support each step of the way.

My specialty areas with younger children include: play therapy, parent coaching, behavioral concerns, Autism Spectrum Disorder, bullying/self-esteem, peer conflict, social skills and ADHD and separation anxiety. Specialty areas with teens and young adults include: family conflict, self-esteem/bullying, anxiety, depression, and substance use.

Through my work in settings such as early intervention programs, schools, substance abuse treatment centers and a juvenile detention center as well as my own life experiences, my passion for helping others has grown. I understand the importance of and genuine connection and understanding at any age.
